Consultations

Sam offers LGBTQ+ and trans affirming consultations. Some specific areas they can support you with include: helping your client finding resources and community, helping advocate for your client with other providers, introduction to being a trans affirming provider, navigating specific challenges that come up, addressing myths and misconceptions, common missteps and how to approach them, helping parents adjust to their client’s gender (and helping children adjust to their parent’s gender), addiction recovery through a trans affirming lens, eating disorder recovery through a trans affirming lens, building a trans inclusive business model, how to make your intake paperwork more inclusive, and more. They also have experience building inclusive curriculum for addiction and eating disorder treatment centers and advising others on how to build this curriculum.

Consulting Fee:

$180/50 min- with some flexibility depending on the individual’s budget and willingness to put in their own work outside of this consultation. They are also open to consultation trades (e.g. anti-racist or anti-ableist consultations traded for trans affirming consultations).
